Key responsibilities

Merchant Onboarding

• Lead end-to-end onboarding of new merchants across Morocco, Africa, and Europe.
• Collect, review, and verify KYC/KYB documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with PSP partners to ensure smooth and timely merchant activations.

Compliance & Risk

• Monitor merchant activity for compliance with applicable payment regulations and KhlasPay policies.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and support periodic audits.
• Stay up to date on regulatory changes across target markets and flag relevant updates to leadership.

Partner Liaison

• Act as primary point of contact for PSP partners on compliance and onboarding queries.
• Work closely with the commercial team to ensure onboarding timelines meet merchant expectations.
• Support due diligence for new PSP and acquirer partnerships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or equivalent
• 3+ years in compliance, onboarding, or risk (payments, banking, or fintech)
• Strong knowledge of KYC/KYB processes and AML regulations
• Organisational precision and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication in French and/or English; Arabic is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment
