Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

KhlasPay is building payment advisory infrastructure across Morocco, Africa, and Europe. We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help architect, build, and maintain the systems that power our platform.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves automation, and has a passion for reliability and scalability.

What you will be doing:

Infrastructure & Automation:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for all platform services.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across multiple environments (staging, production).
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and alerting processes.

Platform Reliability:

• Monitor system performance and lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Ensure 99.9%+ uptime across all customer-facing services.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across the infrastructure stack.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with software developers to define technical roadmaps and architecture.
• Contribute to internal documentation and engineering best practices.
• Support onboarding of new engineering team members.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or SumoLogic.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
