Software Developer

Job Description

KhlasPay is expanding its platform to connect merchants with payment service providers across Morocco, Africa, and Europe. We're looking for a talented Software Developer to help build the tools and integrations that power our advisory platform.

You'll work on everything from merchant-facing dashboards to API integrations with PSPs and acquirers.

What you will be doing:

Platform Development:

• Build and maintain KhlasPay's core platform, including merchant dashboards and admin tools.
• Develop and maintain API integrations with PSPs, acquirers, and third-party services.
• Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code.

Product Collaboration:

• Work closely with the product and commercial teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
• Contribute to improving development workflows and engineering standards.

Quality & Security:

• Ensure all code meets security best practices, particularly for payment data handling.
• Write automated tests and maintain test coverage across the codebase.
• Monitor and respond to production issues in a timely manner.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Node.js, Python, or PHP preferred).
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with payment APIs or fintech integrations is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English and/or French.
